A good teacher teaches. A great teacher inspires.
A good teacher teaches. A great teacher inspires..
Teachers’ Day is celebrated every year on 5 September to commemorate the birth anniversary of
Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan (1888–1975), an eminent philosopher, distinguished scholar,
Bharat Ratna awardee, and the second President of India. When his students wished to celebrate
his birthday, Dr. Radhakrishnan suggested that the day instead be dedicated to honouring teachers
across the nation—a tradition that continues to inspire generations.
At our institution, Teachers’ Day is celebrated with immense respect and gratitude to recognize
the invaluable contribution of our faculty members in shaping future legal professionals. The
celebration includes faculty felicitation, student-led cultural programmes, appreciation
ceremonies, speeches, and interactive sessions that acknowledge the dedication, mentorship, and
academic excellence of our educators.
The occasion reflects our belief that education extends beyond classrooms, and that great teachers inspire not only knowledge but also integrity, leadership, and compassion.
