About the Cell
The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) is the central mechanism for building and ensuring a quality culture at our law college. Established in accordance with UGC and NAAC guidelines, the IQAC works continuously to improve the academic and administrative performance of the institution. It acts as a nodal agency, coordinating all quality-related activities, including the effective implementation of BCI-mandated clinical legal education and regular academic audits.
Core Objectives
To develop a system for conscious, consistent, and catalytic action to improve the academic and administrative performance of the institution.
To promote measures for institutional functioning towards quality enhancement through internalization of quality culture and institutionalization of best practices.
Key Functions
Curriculum Delivery: Monitoring the effective completion of the 3-year LL.B. syllabus and ensuring the integration of case-law methods.
Feedback Mechanism: Collecting and analyzing feedback from students, parents, alumni, and legal professionals on quality-related institutional processes.
Faculty Development: Organizing regular seminars, workshops, and Faculty Development Programs (FDPs) to keep educators updated on evolving legal landscapes.
Academic Audits: Conducting periodic internal academic audits to ensure compliance with University statutes and BCI rules (e.g., library updates and Moot Court functioning).
Documentation: Maintaining accurate records of all institutional activities, publications, and student achievements for regulatory inspections.
